Speech Sound
Production
Great news! Our speech therapy sessions are tailored to help your child improve their speech intelligibility, motor planning, and coordination with speech sounds that are challenging for them. With our therapy, your child will speak more clearly, reduce frustration, and gain confidence as they improve in their overall speech clarity. Additionally, our sessions will aid in the development of critical phonological skills needed for reading, speaking, and spelling.
Language
Skills
Our communication skills program focuses on enhancing both receptive and expressive language abilities, aiming to boost vocabulary, grammar, basic concepts, and verbal. We equip children with the necessary skills for effective communication at home, school and in the community.
Additionally, we offer support in developing advanced academic language skills to enhance listening comprehension and processing abilities.

Our goal is to support your recovery journey by providing tools, strategies, and education to help you or your loved regain quality of life.
For those with dysphagia, we offer education on safe swallowing strategies, recommendations for food textures, and personalized exercise programs.

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT)
At Salt & Light, we focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of speech orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs) in children, teens, and adults. Our evidence-based Oral Myofunctional Therapy (T) enhances the essential skills needed for speaking, swallowing, breathing, and sleeping by targeting the soft tissues of face, neck, and mouth to achieve optimal tongue position and oral rest posture.
OMT aims to promote nasal breathing, establish proper tongue resting posture, create a lip seal, and correct swallowing patterns.
*Clients participating OMT will need additional products available as a kit for $30.
