Where are therapy services provided? 

Salt & Light provides boutique speech therapy at our office in Vestavia Hills and online. We also offer limited mobile services to local preschools, daycares, and those that may have difficulty leaving their home. 

Do you accept insurance?

Salt & Light is in-network with BCBS of Alabama & ALL Kids. If you use another insurance provider we're happy to provide "Superbills" as an out-of-network provider so you can request possible reimbursement from your insurance company.

The amount an insurance provider will cover can vary. We get as much information upfront about insurance but we can’t provide exact amounts of what your cost will be until your insurance company processes and approves the claim. Some insurance plans cover the costs of speech therapy services, while others do not. It is strongly recommended that you contact your insurance carrier to verify coverage and reimbursement percentages PRIOR to your initial evaluation if you are using out-of-network insurance. 

How do I make an appointment?

Use the contact form on our home page or give us a call to schedule your free consultation. From there we can discuss concerns and answer any questions you have about evaluations, treatments, and insurance coverage. We will also schedule your initial evaluation. You will need a referral from a doctor's office if you plan to request reimbursement from your insurance provider. Referrals can be faxed or emailed to our office.

What are your service fees?

How do you bill for services?

Phone consultations are complimentary. All services are available for clients aged 3 through adults. 

​

  • Private Pay Evaluations range from $160​-$300 depending on the type of evaluation and length of time required for assessment. 

  • Private Pay therapy sessions are $85-$130.

  • Billing: You will be emailed an invoice and charged using our EMR (Simple Practice) on the day of service.

  • It is required that a valid credit card be kept on file.

  • Payment is collected at the time services are rendered.

  • Payment methods accepted include cash, credit/debit cards, & HSA/FSA cards.

  • Clients receiving myofunctional therapy do require additional products sold as a kit for $30.
